Theatre presents “Casey at the Bat – The Mime”
as part of Art of the
Game monthly activities on Staten
Island. Following the performance, children
from the audience are invited to come up on
stage and learn simple mime technique.
Sponsored by the National Executive Service
Corps (NESC), SI Bank & Trust, NY Community
Trust, the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, and the
Staten Island Advance, Art of the Game
activities have been sprinkled around the
Island throughout April 2006. Declared by
Borough President James Molinaro as Sports and
Arts Month, the month’s activities are designed
to attract sports and arts-minded children and
adults to show that exercising both body and
creativity makes a well-rounded person.
